Call for photographs :

When a friend has very serious health problems together with financial difficulties what else can one do but try to help her ?

This is why several of Francoise Demulder's friends : "Fifi's friends" ask you to join us to re-assure her of our affection and friendship. We want to pay tribute to a photojournalist whose life was lived with passion and great love for photography.

We are organizing for Francoise's benefit an auction sale of photographic prints which are being contributed by photographers, collectors and galleries. The Auction will take place on october 29 at 6 pm, 2003 in Paris at "La Galerie VU", 2 rue Jules Cousin. 75004 Paris - France.

We appeal to your generosity, and hope you will be moved to join us in this initiative which, as well as showing solidarity with Francoise, also aims to mount a beautiful collection of contemporary photography, not arranged according to any particular category.

Photo agencies, media organizations, picture departments and editors, as well as press and television reporters who wish to contribute financially to this operation can send donations.

This appeal is not limited to media professionals.

Prints :

So that an Online Catalogue of the auction can be set up as fast as possible, please immediatly send a copy of your print in a JPEG format to Christian Poveda at the following address : chpoveda@wanadoo.fr
Every print must be sent with it’s caption and it’s references: books, exhibitions, awards and homepage reference for the photographer or their agency.

In the Online Catalogue, the prints wiill be put online in the order of arrival.

The Prints must be signed. The donator must cover the lab and the courier expenses.
